Using Memory Cards
Memory cards contain electronic components and need to be handled with care. Please read the points below to ensure years of trouble free operation.
- Always store the card in its protective case.
- Do not bend, drop or twist the card.
- Avoid exposing the card to heat, direct sunlight, moisture, chemicals or any particles.
- Avoid placing the card in strong magnetic, static or electrical fields.
- Avoid touching the connectors on the card.
To avoid data loss:
- Never remove a card or switch off your device whilst the card is being accessed. i.e reading, writing, deleting or formatting.
- Avoid using your device when the batteries are low.
We would advise :
- Always test your card fully in your device before use.
- Back-up your card as soon as possible, in case it gets lost or damaged.
- When taking photographs of an event. Spread the shots over two or more cards, in case of loss or damage to the card and/or device.
