Using Memory Cards

Memory cards contain electronic components and need to be handled with care. Please read the points below to ensure years of trouble free operation.

• Always store the card in its protective case.
• Do not bend, drop or twist the card.
• Avoid exposing the card to heat, direct sunlight, moisture, chemicals or any particles.
• Avoid placing the card in strong magnetic, static or electrical fields.
• Avoid touching the connectors on the card.

To avoid data loss:

• Never remove a card or switch off your device whilst the card is being accessed. i.e reading, writing, deleting  or formatting. 
• Avoid using your device when the batteries are low.

We would advise :

• Always test your card fully in your device before use.
• Back-up your card as soon as possible, in case it gets lost or damaged.
• When taking photographs of an event. Spread the shots over two or more cards, in case of loss or damage to the card and/or device.
